Sweet William ‘Diabunda Red Picotee F1’

Sweet William is a popular member of the dianthus family and a widely grown sweet scented ornamental flower. These short lived perennials are often grown as a biennial, although some varieties, including ‘Diabunda’ may be sown in early spring to flower the same summer. The beautiful edible flowers have a white base, with the petals ranging in colour from dark red to purple and pink.   The flowers are lovely added to salads or used to decorate cakes and desserts.  They give beautiful results when crystallised or if used as an edible garnish.
